Silicon carbide crucible (SiC sagger) is made of 98% Silicon carbide, formed by pressing machine, sintered in 1450℃ shuttle kiln. It has good properties like 100 cycle thermal shock resistance, can withstand temperature fluctuating in furnace.

SiC crucible is used in DRI plant based on tunnel kiln to produce high purity sponge iron which play an important role in steel-making. In past ten years, Xingbao provided SiC crucibles to India, Iran, Zambia and Philiphine.
